REVIEW: YS 91SR-3DS
Posted by: | CommentsThe new YS 91SR-3DS is an amazing engine! We were able to achieve more power and a little better fuel economy. We went through several revisions to get this engine perfect. I wanted to make sure we were able to get a sizable improvement over the SR.
Right now the Tuned muffler to use with the new 3DS is still the SB-19. I will be doing some more testing with Tetsuo Hatori over the next few months to see if we can make sizable improvement’s over the current SB-19.

As many of you know, I founded Synergy Helicopters in 2004 with Jason Krause my good friend and long time business partner. Since that time there have been many changes within Synergy; including the passing of our investor and friend, Stephen Fan.
I have decided to give the US distribution of Synergy Products to Matt Botos. I asked Matt to join the Synergy team in 2006 and he has done a great job. I am sure his distribution of Synergy products will be done with excellence as well.
I will be exploring other opportunities within the RC industry, so it’s an exciting time for me. After spending almost two decades consulting for various helicopter manufactures, I am really looking forward to what the next project will be. I will also put more focus on doing schools. I truly love teaching; it’s so rewarding when you see your students excel and know you played a major role in their hobby.
